Skin inflammations such as rashes, eczema and psoriasis respond well to tea tree oil. Mix a few drops with coconut oil and apply to clean skin.

Soothe Chicken Pox

To help relieve the itching caused by chicken pox, add tea tree oil to your bath water and soak for 30 minutes. You can also apply oil to affected areas with a cotton ball.

Fight Dandruff

Add 10 drops of oil to an 8-ounce bottle of natural shampoo to combat flakes and dandruff. Some studies suggest it’s also useful in killing lice.

Heal Acne

One study found that tea tree oil can be just as effective as conventional acne treatments, like benzoyl peroxide, without the common side effects like irritation and dry skin. Dab a drop onto breakouts once a day.
